On May 11 and 12, 2016, the Regional Ebola Treatment Center Summit was held at the Emory Conference Center Hotel, Atlanta, GA.

The goal of this summit was to increase regional and national collaboration efforts in the care and coordination of patients with highly infectious diseases. The NETEC aims to build an infrastructure allowing regional facilities across the nation to share best practices, receive treatment and scientific updates, and define collaborative approaches and strategies in the management of patients with highly infectious diseases.
